The
Art Of Partnership
The art of partnership is never
being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say “I
love you” at least once a day.
It is never going to sleep angry.
It is at no time taking the
other for granted.
It is having a mutual sense
of values and common objectives.
It is standing together and
facing the world,
even when
the world seems cold.
It is knowing and accepting
that there will always be those
that don’t
understand.
It is doing things for each
other, not in the attitude of duty or sacrifice,
but in the
attitude of joy.
It is speaking works of appreciation
and demonstrating
gratitude in thoughtful ways.
The art of partnership is not
looking for perfection in each other.
It is cultivation of flexibility,
patience, understanding and sense of humor.
It is having the capacity to
forgive.
It is giving each other an atmosphere
in which both of you can grow.
It is finding room for the things
that feed you soul.
It is a common search for all
that is good and beautiful.
It is establishing a relationship
in which the independence is equal,
the dependence is mutual,
and the obligation is reciprocal.
The art of partnership is not
joining the right partner,
it is being the right partner.

The Promises of Partnership
Partnership is a promise of companionship,
of having someone to share
all of life’s experiences.
Partnership does not promise
that there will not be any rough times,
just the assurance
that there will always be someone
who cares
and will help you through to better times.
Partnership does not promise eternal romance,
just eternal love and commitment.
Partnership can't prevent
disappointments, disillusionment,
or grief,
but it can offer hope,
acceptance, and comfort.
Partnership can’t protect you
from making individual choices
or shelter you form the world,
but it will help to reassure you
that there is someone by your side who truly cares.
When the world hurts you
and makes you feel
vulnerable,
partnership offers the promise
that there will be someone waiting to listen,
to console, to inspire.
Partnership is the joining of two people
who share the promise
that only partnership can make –
To share in the sunshine and the shadow,
and to experience a richer,
more fulfilling
life because of it.
You Had Me from Hello
One word, that's all you said Something in your
voice called me, turned my head Your smile, just captured me You were in my future as far as I could see And I
dont know how it happens, but it happens still You asked me if I love you, if I always will
Well you had me from
hello I felt love start to grow The moment I looked into your eyes you won me It was over from the start you completely
stole my heart And now you won't let go I never even had a chance you know You had me from hello
Inside
I built a wall So high around my heart, I thought I'd never fall One touch, you brought it down The bricks of
my defenses scattered on the ground And I swore to me I wasn't going to love again The last time was the last time
I'd let someone in
But you had me from hello I felt love start to grow The moment I looked into your eyes
you won me It was over from the start you completely stole my heart And now you wont let go I never even had a
chance you know You had me from hello
Thats all you said Something in your voice calls me, turns my head You
had me from hello You had me from hello Girl, I've loved you from hello

Me and You
Ordinary? No! I really don't think so, Not
a love this true. Common destiny, we were meant to be, me and you. Like a perfect scene from a movie screen, We're
a dream come true. Suited perfectly, for eternity, me and you.
Everyday, well I need you even more, And the nighttime
too. There's no way, I could ever let you go. Even if I wanted to. Everyday I live, try my best to give, All I
have to you. Thank the stars above, that we share this love, me and you
Ordinary? No! I really don't
think so, Just a precious few. Ever make it last, are as lucky as me and you.
